Joe Inoue, born August 30, 1985, is an American rock singer signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan's label Ki/oon Records. His single "Closer" was used in the fourth opening of Naruto: Shippuden. Although his career is rooted in Japan, Inoue was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California. It was not until middle school that he became interested in music and that eventually led him to start his musical career in 2007.
